Goroka University

These photos were taken on the Goroka University campus. It has lovely gardens and a great view!!!

This post in front of the library, has carvings of the Asaro mudmen and their round huts.

This is my travelling companion, colleague and friend, the wonderful Annie with me.

  1. Regarding Kris McCracken's shark bait suggestion, at Kris's blog, "Louis" suggested using cats instead of dogs. A concerned neighbor called 911 thinking "Louis" must be suicidal to post such a suggestion in a world full of cat lovers....

  5. I agree with Abraham. I think it must be difficult to focus on old books when you have such wonders before your eyes (including the ladies :-))

  8. Wow, I guess I better see if that school will take an old guy like me. It looks like such a nice place to learn.

  9. Must be something to do with women called 'Annie'...they are all wonderful in my experience. The uni is a beautiful building in an awesome setting by the looks of things.

  11. You are managing to change the way I view PNG in my mind's eye. Up until following your posts, I imagined life behind razor wire coupled with fear.

    Thank you for this ...

  16. Hi All

Julie - I guess it is in your attitude. I am always careful but walk around confidently and with a friendly attitude and really enjoy the places and the people I see.
