Mask Moth

This moth was on the screen door the other day. I don't know what type it is but it has a colourful PNG mask on the back of it!!!!

Oh, and yes Neva - it was VERY BIG!!!

Hi Jules. It's been a culture shock returning down under and the re-adjustment has been very slow.

I returned from France with just under 8000 photos and I'm so glad I did. There were so many highlights, and yes, one in particular. At the moment I am slowly posting a little of everything and bedtime has extended into the 'oui' hours.

It's great to see you popping in, here.
But, I'm not even half way !!

    Thanks so much.

You don't happen to have a native recipe for beetle soup ??

Give Benson a big pat - pour moi aussi !!!!

Benson is not happy - he got beaten up by The Mean Cat from next door and has a slashed stomach - am going to have to buy him capsicum spray!!!!

  6. What a moth! Why is it moths are scary and butterflies aren't? I don't like big moths flying around my bedroom at night. This is a beauty, none-the-less but please keep him in Rabaul.
