If I ever go back to Rabaul I'll make sure I pay a visit and this time I'll stay on the ground!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7924670542270721219.post-2990314899410509952007-08-01T17:18:00.000+10:002007-08-01T17:18:00.000+10:00Very nice.Very nice.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7924670542270721219.post-59009940324912157242007-07-31T06:04:00.000+10:002007-07-31T06:04:00.000+10:00Thanks for visiting - the memorial is beautiful an...Thanks for visiting - the memorial is beautiful and the sentiment of peace is cetainly welcomed.Juleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06896713537525930258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7924670542270721219.post-84529909313926037712007-07-30T19:31:00.000+10:002007-07-30T19:31:00.000+10:00War is hell for everyone; the structure is beautif...War is hell for everyone; the structure is beautiful in its simplicity.Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09223040482420514208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7924670542270721219.post-79415884811156925492007-07-30T19:19:00.000+10:002007-07-30T19:19:00.000+10:00i remember we had a party up there.. was it for so...i remember we had a party up there.. was it for someones birthday??

erin xx.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7924670542270721219.post-44902251035034099652007-07-30T17:29:00.000+10:002007-07-30T17:29:00.000+10:00Of course the Japanese had their dead too, somethi...Of course the Japanese had their dead too, something often forgotten by us. I was on Iwo Jima after the war and went all around there and saw sights I will never forget.

I told you about the Japanese I knew who was stationed there and ruined his back and his superiors treated all the soldiers almost like pack animals. It must have been hell.

Thanks again for your frequent visits.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
