I stap we?

When asking directions in rural areas it is often advisable to obtain a third opinion.

Lines are back but not great, so I only posted a quick one so I can catch up on my visiting.

Thanks to Steve at New Orlean and Kim at Celina for more
You Make My Day Awards - most chuffed!!!

They certainly came at the right time with my frustration levels quite high this weekend.

Even if you get a second opinion, can you be sure either one is right?:)

Jules this is a comical picture and shows that even though you must be fed-up with the 'lines' you are not loosing your beautiful sense of fun... very nice to have you back.
Give my regards to HWDB as well for keeping you sane at these times.. what a guy..

clueless - in a word NO!! It is often distance that is vague - close could mean a 3 day trek through the mountains!!!

marcel - my pleasure

Tom - when in doubt - laugh!!!

Great shot, Jules.
So are these the people who have been directing the works to your phone lines?

How frustrating to have the lines down. I like your photos very much and the weather makes me very envious indeed!

Hum... glad to see that you are back ... this is a most funny picture ... so, when asking for directions one should always have a third opinion?

It's perfectly obvious that they both, are pointing towards Adelaide.
No matter which way you head off, you're bound to get here sooner or later.
Most likely just as the fish have been cleaned and filleted and they're just going on the BBQ ?
I reckon, Benson's just about here already, maybe he took directions from these two !

Am glad you are able to get back to the lines. Are you having computer withdrawal symptoms when the lines are down..lol. I do sometimes.

This is the best blog I have seen in a long while. Your photography is breathtaking. I am a traveler and you've given me the travel bug -- that's hard to do. I'm glad I found you. TR

Jules, I love your photographs. You take such brilliant portraits - you must have a great way with people to get them to pose. Mind you, I like your non-portraits too - views to die for.

Sorry for all the problems you are having with the phone lines. I know it would drive me I N S A N E!

All your posts are nice and beautiful and exotic, and informative. You live in such a beautiful place, with beautiful people around. They seem to be so more free than we are here in our more "civilized" countries. I have read somewhere that you were celebrating your marriage anniversary (??). I am sorry for not sending my congratulations sooner. You look too young to have been married that long!

lol! :-) In Jamaica no matter how far away a place is if you stop and ask directions you'll always hear, "Yeah mon...it's right around the corner" or "it's just up the road". :-D
