Back home jiggety-jig!!!
I went back to work today - groan!! Actually it was good to be back and see everyone!!! As I drove through "the traffic" I thought of Dive and his regular complaints about his daily commute to work. So folks this is my journey to work each day. Sorry Dive!!!!
Shall I take the outrigger or the car?
Oh....... I’ll take the car for a change I think.
Down the driveway…..
and out onto the busy street……
to the main road….damm the traffic lights!!!
over the bridge and into the driveway…..
I hope no one has got my car park!!!!
Commuting is so stressful.
Will visit on the weekend when I have time. Thanks for all your visits while I was away.
Benson and HWDB had fun but are quite happy to hand the reins back to me I think!!!

wow... no potholes! It's looking good (for the moment).
Welcome home, Jules!
Wow! Cool outrigger!
And yes, I am seething with jealousy at your commute!
Dammit!
hee hee hee.
I know you are absolutely thrilled to be back home and able to breathe in that fresh ocean air. It is nice to see you back.
Hi Paulette - yes no potholes from my place to work but.....some of the other stretches are less than perfect!! Hope all is well with you!!
Dive - so sorry I couldn't help myself!!!
Hi Abe - am popping over now to say hi at your place.
Certainly no stress there; no need for road rage either. I had an even easier commute for a few years - lived in the principal's house across the road from the school.
so, is that a 3-minute drive then? I can't complain--I take my cup of coffee down the stairs to my home office. You're surroundings are much lovelier than mine!
Crikey Jules,
No roof racks, Ay !
How on earth d'ya expect to go fishin in the lunch break if y'havent taken the boat, but !
Never heard a such nonsense, but, ay !!!
Crikey, mate !!
Welcome home, weemizztya.
Welcome home, Jules ... no need for those almost teasing photos!
Yes Yes Yes.... you were missed. Apart from your pretty face it was the fun and laughter.. posts like this where they have your mark on them... but have you seen the standard you have to follow while you have been away... such good posts.
Welcome back Jules...
Jane say a big Hello.
I hope you had a nice vacation!
Your commute looks as stressful as mine! Gosh the 30 second walk from my backdoor to my office is a tough way to start the day. When I do have to drive I might be stuck at the stop sign for another 30 seconds. Ugh, the stress of it all!
All kidding aside I loved seeing the drive you take to work. It is lovely!
Welcome Back!! Though I must say someone did a good job while you were away!!
Yeah yeah yeah oh so stressfull.lol.
Empty roads.
Nice shots too.
My Sky Watch up now
Lovely commute! Welcome back!
Wonderful drive to work! I sure enjoyed travelling along with you!

Hi Jules... regular reader but first time 'commenter' to your blog, loved you commute comparison to Dive's.
Poor Dive, I must have related his daily commute story to dozens of friends... glad I live in little old Adelaide.
Did you know that it is Jules Verne's birthday today (1828)... just a little trivia.
Very impressed with your powers of observation on M.Benaut's ADP with the cars... your are spot on... but it was in the 1960s' so it is the real MB.
There ain't no rest for the wicked, - nor them Queenslanders.
But you'll be forgiv'n if y' sleep in 2morro.
All that travellin'.
A girl could get plumb-tuckered !
But only an Aussie girl.
Hi and welcome home again. Man, I don't know how you handle the stress of that daily commute. Your nerves must be frazzled by the time you arrive....LOL
Glad you're home Girl!!hughug
Hahaha....nice story. No traffic jam with such a transport like yours. Cool.
