"I was simply restless, quite likely because of a dissatisfaction with the recent trajectory of my life, and if there is a better, more compelling reason for dropping everything and moving to the end of the world, I don't know what is."
--J. Maarten Troost, The Sex Lives of Cannibals (2004)

They look so sad! Or are they just concentrating very hard?
Jules, I thought you had defected to the Land Down Under, where women glow and men chunder !!
Can't you just hear the music.
Benson has been exploring the square downpipes - now that you let the cat out of the bag (so to speak), and will probably ignore you on your return.
He's concentrating on stuff and will acknowledge your return presently; - as cats are wont to do.
They seem sad.
Or are they just tired?
Anyhow, it remembered me the david Bowie song "Let´s dance ..."
I might start doing my hair like that it looks very fetching in a certain light... ;0)
I would love to see a dance and a sing-sing.
Hope you had a good trip away and welcome back! oh dear they all look so fed up. Probably they'd rather be playing on the beach.
I agree that they look so very sad.

Hi All Missed you all very much!!
I am back but straight into work and am so busy!! Will pop in over the weekend when i have unpacked!!
Thanks for all your comments while i was away. Was unable to get onto a computer in the later stages and even though I was tempted M B - I have returned to Benson and HWDB!!!
Benson came galloping across the compound purring with delight - so did HWDB I might add!!!
Will explain the gutters on the weekend!!!
How on earth do you get these amazing cultural shots Jules?
Are these events that you get invited to or just happen to be passing at just the right moment?
Jules, your blog is always a visual picnic. I love every bit of it.
