Jules,
I knew that there must have been a very important personal reason that took you away from Rabaul. My prayers for you and your family...

Jules it's so good to see you back home, even though this volcano photo is a bit frightening. I know things can't be easy for you and your family right now, but know that there are lots and lots of us thinking of you!

I am hoping you would see a difference in the smoke if it was really serious or not?
One day at a time Jules.

Welcome back, Jules! I hope you had a good trip. Does that volcano ever stop spewing ash and smoke?

Good to see you back Jules. My thoughts are with you and your family. In answer to your question, the building is now used as office space but in such a way thta it doesn't damage the fabric of the original building.

That is an incredible photo.

Welcome back, sorry about your sister in law. Take care.

Wow, the smoke is very scary but you did a great job taking a photo shot of it.

Jules, there's not a "woohoo" or a "yay" in the whole workd big enough to welcome you back.
Huge hugs from up here in Old Britain.

Dear Jules,

You can see that you have been so sorely missed by all your mates, but you have had obligations to loved ones.

We will all be here solidly behind you and hope you regain strength slowly and in your own good time.

I think Dive summed it up in his inimitable way.

He is a gem, but then, so are you !!

Hi Jules! Hope you didn’t grow fat on Thanksgiving and survived all the awful news in the media this week… Great to see you back and with an awesome picture of the volcano!
Meanwhile Blogtrotter is in Tunisia, now at the Blue Village after the Bardo Museum (a must)! Hope you enjoy and have a great weekend!

Hi Jules,
Thanks for all your offers of help to the girls there now. They are having a great time. Hope all went well as can be expected with your family - what eventually happened? With the world economic situation as it is , we are being transferred to Shanghai - a shame as we love Beijing. Hope to get back to Rabaul sometime next year.

Hope all is well after your visit home.....missing a volcano??? Hmmmm I'll have to take your word for it!!! I still marvel at the one photo you took where your girls could not go in the water/ocean due to the temperature of the water....fascinating as I find that...I find I enjoy it through your eyes very much!!Living vicariously through you works for me!!!(--especially the bug bits.)
