On display in the grounds of the Kokopo Museum is this Japanese triple barrel anti-tank and aircraft canon that spat out 300 rounds a minute. Sounds pretty deadly.
It is also the final resting place of WWII aircraft found in the jungles here. I know nothing about war planes – does this one look familiar to anyone???
I have visited a few blogs today that have been very moving, both by picture and by words. I have learned so much about the places I visit daily from the comfort of my chair, but the emotions are real.
