I'm late posting today because we have a new baby in the house. I had forgotten how demanding they are!! She seems to have settled in very well........
......and just loves the beach. Her heritage is questionable and her final size and shape will be a surprise but she is adorable. The name is still under discussion. I'm pushing for Jessie but no decision has been made yet. Any ideas????

A beautiful Rottweiler. We have two. They are certainly magnificent dogs. They have a generally injustified bad reputation. But, I always maintain that it is more of a bad owner than a bad rottweiler. If well trained they are splendid companions.

ReplyDeleteRenovator - the funny thing is she isn't rottweiller. her mother is a village dog (Asian dog variety) and her dad is kelpie crossed with village dog and something else. her colouring comes from the kelpie side of the family.

Jules: Ooooh, I forgot about ex-pats and housekeepers and the like (not casting nasturtiums - I have a cleaner, but she doesn;t do ovens, or windows, or clean very much really....but a clean toilet and bath and run with the vac over the carpet is heaven -sent nevertheless!)

ReplyDeletePuppies are so like babies. When we dog-sat our sons pup, I thought I would never get any sleep. We all survived and she is really sweet anyway.
