"I was simply restless, quite likely because of a dissatisfaction with the recent trajectory of my life, and if there is a better, more compelling reason for dropping everything and moving to the end of the world, I don't know what is."
--J. Maarten Troost, The Sex Lives of Cannibals (2004)

Regarding Kris McCracken's shark bait suggestion, at Kris's blog, "Louis" suggested using cats instead of dogs. A concerned neighbor called 911 thinking "Louis" must be suicidal to post such a suggestion in a world full of cat lovers....
Annie looks lovely, Jules.
Boy, oh boy, I wish my local university looked as good as that one!
This is what I call a place to go for a retreat and education would be secondary. Nice photographs. Say hi to your companion.
That looks like a beautiful place to be...I love that second photo.
I agree with Abraham. I think it must be difficult to focus on old books when you have such wonders before your eyes (including the ladies :-))
What a great setting to have your picture taken Jules.. Annie as an excellent smile and a good choice of friends.
Look at all those Glorious flowers!!!hughugs
Wow, I guess I better see if that school will take an old guy like me. It looks like such a nice place to learn.
I liked seeing the photo of you and Annie.
Take care,
Must be something to do with women called 'Annie'...they are all wonderful in my experience. The uni is a beautiful building in an awesome setting by the looks of things.
Over at San Francisco Bay Daily Photo, instead of a place of learning, we have Visions of Hell.
You are managing to change the way I view PNG in my mind's eye. Up until following your posts, I imagined life behind razor wire coupled with fear.
Thank you for this ...
What beautiful grounds...
Beautiful pictures! This looks like a lovely campus.
Dennis like the carving.
Excellent post!
Stunning views! Quite different from my college in Maine!
You would struggle to find better maintained gardens anywhere in the world, I think!
Hi All
Julie - I guess it is in your attitude. I am always careful but walk around confidently and with a friendly attitude and really enjoy the places and the people I see.
Amazing country and such a beautiful University. I would probably stare out the window all day and never get anything done.
That place looks beautiful.
Very nice place for studying. Nice to see a photo of you too Jules!
That looks like a lovely campus!
