Raun Raun Theatre
The Goroka Theatre Company is based in the sensational Raun Raun Theatre building in the park opposite the market. There are local performances every Friday. I only had my zoom lens so couldn't get a photo of the whole building, so I only have bits and pieces of it.
These two sections of the roof above, are part of the roof that sits on top of the left section of the roof in the photo below.... if you can imagine it.
The photo below fits on the right side of the photo above.

Yeah Dive - it is quite spectacular. Next time I go I will make sure I have a lens that can take it all in!!!
That covers a lot of space! Is it used for anything on the other days?

I so like the way you gave pieces of the building to put together for the whole view. Must try that soon myself.
That first image is certainly arresting! I guess the roofs (?) are made from reeds. They certainly show many wierd and varied angles. Good series of images, Jules.
Amazing roof... One of the shots looks like the face of a fish (to me nyway)... :-)
I think that the close-up shots are great. The detail looks most extra terrestrial in the 2nd shot.
No harm in zooming in on such interesting matters.
That's a great roof.. straw/grass and mud? What ever it is it looks study and well made.. I look forward to seeing more from the theater

I do visit and I do comment and I was here. I did look at your picture(s) and I did read what you wrote about them. I could say how great you are and how beautiful your work is but alas I would soon run out of things to say on the next blog I visited, so I just left this to prove I stopped and said a few words on Sunday.
