Fishing for sympathy

These children were fishing on the beach last Sunday. The youngest one took one look at me with the camera and scuttled screaming up the beach to her mother, who promptly fell about laughing !!!!

You have the most amazing skies right outside your door Jules. Love these little photo ops you captured. Such drama.

Such cute kids, and of course fabulous beach scenery. What a hoot to imagine the littlest kid screaming up to his mom because of your camera! I hope his mother's laughing made him realize he didn't need to worry.

pretty funny, but you got nice shots. Kids sometimes FREEZE and smile when they see my camera, but I don't take pics unless I've talked to them a little to relax them into looking like themselves. I also get people asking me to take their picture, especially along the river--fishermen will ask if they can pose with a fish. they have no way of receiving the photo (no computer) they just want me to take the picture.

The little girl who ran away isn't in the photos - there was another. She saw me walking towards her and took off - i didn't even get close enough to talk to her - must be real scary looking hey!! Most peple here are just delighted to get their photo taken and often push their chn into the frame or hold babies up to me. they love seeing themselves on the screen after you have taken it too!!!
