October Theme - Lines

It has been ages since I have joined a theme day. It made me realise how many times I have been away this year on the first of the month!!!!

I immediately thought of coconut trees when I knew Lines was the theme for this month.

Their trunks are amazing.

......and so are their leaves.

I have posted the tree trunks before but thought they could do with another airing as they fit the theme so well. I have changed them to B & W to highlight their line.

To visit other daily photos and see what they have done with Lines click here:

Not too dangerous when it's "coconuts time" to go for a walk underneath?
Beautiful picture!

It makes an interesting picture.

I was expecting somebody to come up with a line at the doctor's office, or a line at the peep show, or a line at the voting booth. I saw all kinds of lines and been in all of them and how quick we forget.

You can never show too many coconut trees (smile). The leaves are a special treat.

Terrific set of lines. Converting to black and white was the perfect choice. I like your saying that you were giving your picture another airing...good post Jules.

Hi Rabaul!
I think this is my first visit to your blog, and I'm glad I foud it. You have a wonderful collection of photographs.

These lines created by those coconut trees are just wonderful and a great choice for this month's CDPB theme. Mine's just up to.

Greetings,
Eki

therese - not a good idea to sit or park your car under one. The noise of them hitting the ground with a huge thud is one we hear all the time here!!!

Abe - you are much more creative than I am - what a clever idea!!!

hyde & denton - hi guys good to hear from you

eki - hi and welcome to rabaul!!

Hi Elaine, Sue & knoxville girl - thanks for dropping by

Love these photos!! Such a great way to highlight the beautiful lines in your part of the world. As for Paris, if I see a line outside a bakery I'll join in as I'm sure that whatever they're selling must be good!

Love those trunks ... great choreography by mother nature!

Great interpretation, from the thumbnail I couldn't tell they were tree trunks, they looked more like tree roots.

I think both shots are fabulous and I’m glad you joined in on Theme Day.

I only joined in on the theme by accident as I never pay any attention to until the theme is posted. I guess you can say I’ve never been one to conform to rules or join in with others.

"Louis" didn't register for the theme day, but he's had a splendid time visiting those of you who did!
