This view is as you head into Rabaul from Kokopo. If you turn to the right you have a great view across the Simpson's Harbour to the volcano.

"I was simply restless, quite likely because of a dissatisfaction with the recent trajectory of my life, and if there is a better, more compelling reason for dropping everything and moving to the end of the world, I don't know what is."

I suppose living next door to a volcano is something that takes some getting used to. I am not sure I could do that. Earthquakes are bad enough and I remember some wild rides on office chairs when I was in Japan.
That is a beautiful view, volcanos, earthquakes and all! :-D
Abe you ought to see our mad neighbour, depending on how much drink she's had, an earthquake or volcano would be welcome
:)
I like the view, but isn't it a bit sacry to live near a volcano?
By the way... I need your e-mail to invite you to join us on UNITEDPHOTOS. Please send it to me.
