Sometimes in PNG when you need a bris (bridge) you have to build it yourself.
Bit rushed - have just flown in from Port Moresby, will visit tomorrow.

That is my idea of a perfect bridge. Put a roof on it and it would be like mine, a covered bridge.
....And a perfect everything else !

Great to see you back safe, though crossing some amazing bridges...
Quite interesting was the post with the pictures of the pikinini; actually, in Portuguese, a small child may also be named "pequenino", which most probably sounds quite similar to the PNG. I wonder whether this is some reminiscence of our travels in the Pacific Ocean...

DIY bridge; I like it!
I like bridges like these-- no safety requirements, but probably more stable than one might think.
It snowed today in my world--my favorite weather is *******BLIZZARD********, this was just a teensy snow though. More to follow I am sure!

Thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog. The only thing our two bridges have in common is that they are both crossing over water (but even that is different, mine is slow moving while yours is raging).
Love it! Not that I would really like crossing this one. Especially if I had to build it myself!
