Classy glass

Some of the stained glass features going up in the new Vunapope Cathedral.

I'm only guessing but some of it looks like it has been taken from the old church and reused. They are most attractive - I do like simple, clean glass features.

I will go back and get more photos of the shell structure - it was very difficult the other day to move around outside.

Hi Jules...
These are nice... a lot of our older churches have beautiful stained glass windows, but it saddens me to say that a lot are now vandalised.. so churches have now covered them up... it's a sad world at times.

Glad you liked the Water Lilly's.. there are in a nearby park..
I hope yours flower...

I agree stained glass windows are sooo classy. In one's house, they look so expensive.

The windows are lovely and will show so many pretty colors as the sun shines through them. Thanks for the pictures and am looking forward to more.

I agree about the glass. Modern design can be so effective in the right hands, and these are splendid.

What a fabulous building and yes I love the simplicity of the glass work. Classy glass is a good title.

Nice photos, but to be honest, the motifs don't seem to fit together very well? Humm... Thank you for sharing, though!

I love stained glass windows. Your photos are fabulous as usual. I saw beautiful stain glass windows by Chagall in Pocantico, NY.

Come and see M. and Mme Benaut in Montpellier on my blog :-)) I am so sad they could not stay longer here.

great
A summer love is beautiful
But it's not enough
To satisfy emotions
That are shared between us
A winter love is cozy
But I need so much more
It just intensifies my wants
To have a love that endures
