"I was simply restless, quite likely because of a dissatisfaction with the recent trajectory of my life, and if there is a better, more compelling reason for dropping everything and moving to the end of the world, I don't know what is."

Puff the Magic Dragon? He did live by the sea...
wonderful, beautiful place.
Yes you're right, I can see it too - what a fabulous sight!
I've never had snails (?).. LOL
I am French and I would hate having to eat snails. When it rains I walk in the streets of my neighborhood to save the snails from the snail eaters!
I think your cloud looks like a swan.
I think it looks like a camel at rest on a pillow. Lovely!
Beautiful photo. The cloud is really an eye catching one. Have a nice time in Australia.
Stunning, Jules, as ever.
Yes, I can see the escargot! :-)
Jules, I was awarded the BFF (blogging friends forever) Golden Card by Marie from Malta Daily Photo (click the banner on my blog). Now it's my turn to pass this award to other bloggers and I have chosen you.
Hope you are having a good time back home.
Your post gave me a laugh. Thanks (smile)
Oui! Weird!
Definitely a giant snail. It must have taken a long time to travel from France at a snail's pace.
This snail travels for a long time, if it comes from France
