An excuse and a nice spot to have a swim

Sorry I've been AWOL

BUT

I have a good excuse and another Good Luck / Bad Luck story!!!

What Good Luck all the flights connected and we got home safely yesterday!!!

What Bad Luck the desk-top computer decided to take a long holiday and fell in a heap.

What Good Luck I have a laptop.

What Bad Luck the local area connection wouldn't open the blogger for me to post!!!

What Good Luck my provider is now working (24 hrs later).

What Bad Luck the photos are all on the computer which is at the hospital.

What (Sort-of) Good Luck I have some old photos on my laptop.

This is one of my favouite places to swim - Tovarua Plantation.

Oh my! Thank you for your perseverance through these troubles. I keep a small supply of unused images on a flash stick, just in case. I've been having troubles with Blogger for the last several days, so it isn't just acting up for you.

I'm glad you're back, safe and sound.

Sigh. Will I ever stop being jealous at your place of residence?

What good luck I have you to visit to make me smile when it's raining!

Jenan - yeah it is a magical spot hey!!! Thanks for the spelling I posted it in such a rush and didn't check.

Glad you made it home safely. Bummer about all the computer problems though. Hope all's well soon! At least you have a fabulous place to swim. I just love this photo -- can I come for a swim today instead of going to work?

A beautiful photograph and a too funny commentary. Glad you are home. What did we ever do before we had computers...

I find it is much safer to keep the photos on the memory card until they have been put in 2 places. One on the computer with the card reader and then on either a USB drive, a 2nd hard drive, or uploaded to Picasa

Hi Jules! Good luck we have to see you posting around! Nice picture of the Bouncing Baby Boy!
Blogtrotter just said goodbye to Mykonos 2007!! It shows the famous sunset scene at Little Venice, and the Pelican mascot of the island… ;)
Hope you enjoy, comment and have a great weekend!

I remember that's what living in PNG is all about -- going with the flow.

I'm new to your blog and love to meet other expats. Will start reading more tomorrow. Looks very interesting.
Love the Martin Troost books.

Jules, thankyou for the compliment. You might need to temper that with knowing it's an old photo. A lot has dropped and wrinkled since then. ha ha And right, isn't it fascinating how we think of someone as being blond or brunette. I did the same with a friend from America - sure she was blond until she sent a pic!

Glad you are back! I have had some similar mishaps lately, and haven't been out and about blogging much either. Loved this photo - don't care if it is and "old" one, it is really beautiful!
