Lukim yu bihain wantoks!!!

This is early morning at Tokua Airport and by the time you read this I will be on my way to Australia - if Air Niugini is in a good mood today!!!

Even though I’ll be away I hope you can still pop in for a visit as I have been slaving over a hot computer putting a month of posts into drafts – I have blisters on my fingers. I have even got my October Theme day organized – how dedicated is that????

He-Who-Doesn’t-Blog-But-Has-Been-Talked-Into-It is going to post for me until he flies down next week (and also during the week after we get back from Vietnam while I am still in Brisbane). I hope you can leave a comment or two to encourage him!!!! If there is a day missing now and again don’t be alarmed!

Denton has kindly offered to post for me (and feed the cat) while we are in Vietnam. Please pop in and say hi to him as he doesn't know anyone here!!

Tenku tru (Thank you very much) guys!!

Lukim yu bihain wantoks (See you later my friends)

Have a wonderful time, Jules, especially catching up with all your family, and spending time together. Does this mean we will get some happy snaps from your time in Brisbane and Vietnam? Sure hope so. Air No-Going reminds me of the Russian airline, AeroFlop!

Jules, seeing your airport shot reminds me that I didn't post everything about our "adventure" last week. When we heard our granddaughter was in ICU, we caught the first flight. 2:45 p.m. -- but Houston had a bad rain storm so we set. Then, not only would they not let us take off, they started diverting planes to New Orleans.

Three hours later we pushed back from the gate only to have the captain tell us there was bad rain storm at the end of our runway and we sat some more. It goes on and on. But you can understand that when we finally got to the hospital at midnight, there wasn't a nerve left.

Thanks for your kind words.

If travellers have a flight in the morning so it will be great for them to reach airport early in the morning because in the morning it feels nice.
