Thanks for coming by, Jules. You missed the pregnant Blue Jay bird. Or she looks to be pregnant. Not that she is. It is the position she happened to be in.

I am sorry you are not able to see her.

I like your shot. It is lovely and a reminder that some places are very nice almost every day.

If I had your email address I could mail you the pic but it might take forever to download too.

Maybe the bird blog would work better or try the oldmanlincoln.com site.

Beautiful shot of an awesome looking location. A couple of beers would make a great afternoon.

Lots to catch up on, at your blog Jules. Hope your server connections are sorted out too. JUles, almost every one of your photos is breath-taking.What's in the esky? I'd like a chilled bottle of 6 yo Eden Valley Riesling, a couple of cold Boag beers, a kilo of prawns, a green salad, a couple of ripe mangoes and peaches, plus an fascinating companion! Ooh..thanks for the mention too.

A lounge chair would be nice or just a blanket to sit on. You picked a perfect spot!

Is that a volcano in the background? ;-)

I admire your tenacity in the face of Rabaul Internet Services Inc!

Greetings as always.

I came back to pester you. Is that a volcano in the distance? Or is it just a puff of steam and not a cloud?

I posted my dad's clock today.

chuckeroon & abraham - yes it is THE volcano - puffing away quite happily at the moment. It is 17 kms across the water - just far enough away. It is a bit like the Eiffel Tower in Paris - wherever you go here you can see it!!!

I am sure that whatever is in the esky will be all that's required. As all the others have said we are grateful to see Rabaul through your eyes, especially with the crap internet connection.
I guess it would be hard to get lost, with that magnificent landmark puffing away.

Did I mention that you also live in a scary part of the world as well? Volcanoes, bugs as big as your feet and so many other things....nerves of steel girl, nerves of steel....I am not sure I could sleep with the volcanoe that close but maybe you get used to it? Love your comments and I am sorry you are having connection issues....I have that with mine from time to time and it is soooo frustating! Love the photos!
