Riven II : Are we there yet?

Unlike on a freeway in the city where you would have a huge overhead sign stating RIVEN 1 km here in Rabaul we have bent coconut trees to sign the way.

"Are we there yet??"

Not far now.

I've heard that it is more common for women to travel by landmarks than by road signs. (And I've also heard men don't ever ask for directions.)

Landmarks do often serve as our signposts.

Men need all the directing we can get..... well thats what my Jane says. ;)
Great picture, I must make a note to look for a bent tree now.

Now that is cute...how did you end up in this lovely place?

I reckon that the bend is for the kids to sit on when they climb the tree to get coconuts.
I wonder what's around the corner?

Long shots of front garden? Maybe later? Lot's of dead heading now needed after sudden burst of "super heat". So, maybe in September when second crop appears (and I've dealt with all those remaining weeds).

Yes, I've never seen such a tall tree with such a large angle in it's trunk.
