Our Eiffel Tower

As in Paris with the Eiffel Tower, so it is in Rabaul. The symbol of this town Tavurvur, like the Eiffel Tower, seems to pop up in every photo!!!

This is taken from Blue Lagoon, a popular spot on the Rabaul/Kokopo road, looking across Simpson's Harbour towards Rabaul and the volcanoes.

Denton at Greenville Daily Photo is kindly looking after my blog and feeding the cat while I am away. Hope you can keep visiting and say hi.

I could look over the Blue Lagoon all day and still want more. It really is a beatiful place, and somewhere I have enjoyed getting to learn about.

Hello Jules, I imagine you are stealing a few looks at your blog, enjoying Rabaul's beauty while you are traveling. There is so much beauty.

Jules, I think thta if you opened a hotel down there you would have a lot of customers. With all these lovely scenes and landscapes. Yes. And having nice manager called Jules would be an enormous help too!

Perhaps the French are missing out on one most important feature. The Eiffel Tower can't belch smoke. ( Benson is having a rostered day off today !)

Peut-être les Français manquent un élément le plus important. Le Tour Eiffel ne peut pas souffler la fumée. ( M. Benson apprécie un jour de conges, aujourd'hui.)
