Low tide at Tovarua
Still at CPL (Coconut Products Ltd), this is Tovarua Plantation Beach where we often have picnics and go swimming and diving. On this day the divers had to trek far out over the low tide flats to get to the reef.

What a place to be right now, here it's been raining on and off all day. That is a truely stunning picture Jules. Warmed me up just looking at it.

Looks really stunning but i wonder how long you have before you have to rush back or you get cut off?
I like the idea of the reef and walking out to it but I would still have some misgivings about it and waves and tides and sharks and things I don't know not to touch or step on. It would be a big worry for me. I am comfy at home in my worn out slippers and my ageless shorts and my birds, and bees, and bugs and my flowers. It ain't much but it is my corner of paradise. I just wish it would rain.
I had a ball with a hawk today. I will publish it tomorrow. I got 290 good photos of it and never left my room.

m benaut - you asked and I have to say the water temps is a PERFECT 28 degrees!!!! Have you got your towel????
Sure, but looks like I don't need one. Wouldn't need anything here, except perhaps a face mask. SOLD.
m benaut - you're right who needs a towel? You'll be dry in seconds. A mask will be handy to see all the coral and fish.
I saw a turtle on Wednesday which was a real buzz and you don't need to dive to see them - you can see them snorkeling as well (you that is not the turtles!!!!)
